Major General Thaddeus Ponyo was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's L Corps as of 2764.[1]
History[edit]
Ponyo had served in the SLDF for over 40 years as of 2764, and regarded his assignment to L Corps as a form of working retirement. His uninspiring, but equally unblemished, career allowed him to rise to Corps command almost by sheer seniority.
By the time he reached these heights however, he was arguably already somewhat senile, and left the running of L Corps to his staff and Division commanders. This hands off approach left "Old Man Tad" well liked by his troops, but not truly respected.[1]
