Thomas Miranda was a police officer with CPOL, the police force on Cameron, as of 3077.[1]

Following the death of Princess Michelle Cameron-Jones and her unborn son, while under the protection of the Regulan Security Service (RSS) and CPOL Special Protection Group (SPG) while on Cameron, Miranda was responsible for communicating the news to his colleagues in CPOL. His message in this regard, which warned police staff not to leak the connections of Sonja Amora to the assassination, was later declassified for use as court evidence and was released to the media.[1]
