History[edit]
Though born into House Daniels, Titus does not resemble the commonly held view of what a either a MechWarrior or Commonwealth noble should look or act like, being rather meek and quiet around women, stuttering in normal conversation and is well known as a poet. Any who think that Titus Daniels is a pushover experience a rude shock with his demeanour in the cockpit almost the complete opposite, the shyness and stutter disappearing with his voice over the comms hard enough to cut steel. Daniels also showed an amazing agility in the normally ponderous Longbow as well a dramatic proficiency for oblique and indirect LRM fire.[1]
Daniels would serve with the Twenty-second Skye Rangers, his transfer to the questionably regarded unit having nothing to do with his skill while piloting his Longbow, but rather after he badly thrashed a fellow officer who gravely underestimated him in an affair of honor.[1]
BattleMech[edit]
Titus Daniels would pilot a Longbow-class 'Mech.[1]
Daniel's Longbow would be the Hero 'Mech in MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, dubbed with the name Hailstorm and featuring an apocryphal loadout, dropping the standard LGB-0W's small laser and exchanges the arm-barrel mounted LRM-20s for LRM-15s, the free weight used to upgrade the torso LRM-5 launchers to LRM-10s and add a medium laser to the head and each torso location.[2]
