Vella Delacroix was the commanding officer of the Gamma Regiment of the Twelfth Vegan Rangers during the Fourth Succession War.[1]
History[edit]
Colonel Delacroix, leading a force comprised of the Gamma and Delta Regiments of the Twelfth Vegan Rangers, was dispatched to take the Capellan world of Poznan on behalf of the Federated Suns in 3028. While the planet was normally defended by the Third Battalion of the Second Ariana Fusiliers, that unit's reassignment to the defense of Tikonov made the Rangers' job much easier. After defeating Poznan's lightly-armed militia, Delacroix utilized her ancestry to win the support of the planet's oppressed Spanish minority and gave these citizens the right to form their own government and arm their own militia. Having eliminated the need to garrison Poznan, Delacroix took her regiments off-world to participate in the fighting for Buchlau.[1]
