Major General Vlasta Tesarova was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 12th Jump Infantry Division as of 2764.[1]

With the looks and usually the temperament of a kindly grandmother, Tesarova could also swear like a drill sergeant when the situation called for it, switching between chewing out an officer one moment and offering them home-baked cookies the next.
Her Division was based on Tantara, and faced riots from local citizens of the Capellan Confederation, with Tesarova and the local police blaming each other for the continuing unrest.[1]
