Westover BattleMechs was a subsidiary of Andurien AeroTech.[1]

Overview[edit]

Following the Jihad, Free Worlds Defense Industries specialists in BattleMech manufacturing fled the collapsing company to join Andurien AeroTech, FWDI's former aerospace division that had become independent at the beginning of 3078.[1][2] A BattleMech facility FWDI built on Westover in 2607, which was sabotaged and damaged in the 2620s and then shuttered when FWDI nearly went bankrupt in 2628,[3] was refurbished while Andurien AeroTech was undertaking the legal steps to create Westover BattleMechs. Their first product was a modernized Cicada, which was upgraded after the Free Worlds League reunification in 3139.[1]
