History
The Bremond Draconis March Militia was once a home for criminals and thugs.[1] Mary Tallman made it her mission to clean up the unit, and she succeeded beyond anyone's hopes. The unit was so well-regarded that it participated in the campaign for Galtor III, fighting several front-line Draconis Combine units to a standstill.[2]
FedCom Civil War
Many of the troops of the Bremond DMM were used to form the 1st Royal Cavaliers.[3] Later, the surviving elements of the Bremond DMM were nearly destroyed in the fighting on Tsamma.[4]
Officers
- As of 3025 the commanding officer was Leftenant General Mary Tallman.[5]
- As of 3062 the commanding officer was Leftenant General Syraman Simpreeni.
- As of 3067 the commander was Major General Gunther Focke.[6]
Tactics
Though adept at defensive operations, the Bremond DMM was configured as a quick-response force with its own JumpShips and DropShips.[7] These specializations were lost after the events of the FedCom Civil War however, as the Bremond DMM lost so many troops.[8]
