Formation
The Hussars first saw action in 2925, earnign a reputation for poor discipline. Some describe the unit as "a suicidal rabble of talanted egotists.[1]
4th Succession War
The Homeworld of Kamakura's Hussars is Styk. In the 4th Succession War the units 1st battalion retreated after the failed defense of Sakhalin of the world.
Andurien/Canopus Invasion
The Hussars saw action on Turin, Andarmax, and New Roland. [2]
Operation Guerrero
The Hussars took heavy casualties from the 6th Syrtis Fusiliers, contributing to an institutional hatred of House Davion.[1]
Xin Sheng Campaign
Left out of the attack on St. Ives for fear of collateral damage, the Hussars were used against targets in the Chaos March.[1]
Jihad
Now known as Phyr's Hussars, the unit held St. Andre from 3069 until the end of the Jihad against raids by Blakist and mercenery units. The Hussars lost a battalion of Mechs in a nuclear strike.
