Colonel Romero Serrano was the commander of the III Principes Guards, with the Republic of the Sphere and then Republic Remnant, from at least 3135 to 3145.[1][2]

History[edit]

In 3135 Serrano and the III Principes were based on Towne and Small World, when the Senate Rebellion sought to claim these and other worlds in that region, for their Senatorial Alliance. When Julian Davion and the First Davion Guards landed on Ronel with reinforcements against the Senators however, Serrano gladly joined with Davion, and helped destroy the rebels. Serrano refused Exarch Jonah Levin's subsequent call to pull back behind into Fortress Republic, remaining on Ronel with Davion, only falling back after Davion departed and Ronel was claimed by the Federated Suns.

Garrisoning Addicks and Small World until 3142, when the Suns claimed those worlds as well, the III Principes then spent a year travelling through occupied territory to Marcus to sign up with the Republic Remnant. Serrano however lost some of his troops, when Julian Davion stopped off at Callison on his way back to the Federated Suns, and was joined by a number of III Principes personnel.[2] This left Serrano, with the remains of the III Principes, being on based the Remnant world of Dubhe and Chertan as of 3145.[1]

As these worlds garrison, Serrano and the III Principes fought off Clan Wolf raiders, including one Wolf Guards unit of two Trinaries which attached Dubhe. This raid was foiled when two MechWarriors piloting Laments under Serrano's command, brothers Stephen Anderson and Samson Anderson, managed to win a Trial of Possession for one of the raiders DropShips.[3][4][5]
