Planet History
Originally named Helbrent,[5] this world was originally a part of the Timbuktu Province of the Rim Worlds Republic; Helbrent later became a part of the Erdvynn Province of the Republic before being conquered by the Lyran Commonwealth during the 2773-2775 Republic-Commonwealth war, and vanished from maps during the 2nd Succession War.[7][8] When the planet reappeared on maps during the 3rd Succession War it had been re-named Andiron.[8][9]
The Word of Blake's 49th Shadow Division bombarded Andiron from orbit on the 30th of November 3080. The attack - for which no reason has yet been uncovered, despite the Circinus Federation evidently being a Blakist ally during the Jihad - destroyed Andiron's capital city, spaceport and planetary water purifiers.[16]
Notes
It was confirmed that Helbrent and Andiron were one and the same by the Catalyst Game Labs writing staff.
