Vice Admiral Quentin Puttock was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 42nd Escort Squadron as of 2764.[1]

Puttock spoke fluent Japanese, and had a good understanding of Japanese culture, which assisted in his dealings with the Draconis Combine Destroyer Squadron under Cho-sho Joji Arita which shadowed the 42nd Escort Squadron.
He led his Squadron from his flagship the SLS Saturn.[1]
