The Chesterton Liberation Battalion was a pro-Capellan Confederation terrorist group active as of 2760.[1]
History
The Chesterton Liberation Battalion claimed responsibility for a terrorist bombing, in May 2760, which destroyed a BattleMech factory on the Federated Suns world of Demeter. The Federated Suns accused the Maskirovka of aiding the terrorists, though they denied these charges.[1]
Treating the attack as a breach of the Bell Accord between the two states, it caused a brief period of open conflict between Liao and Davion sides, to which the Star League responded by deploying the Star League Defense Force's Sixteenth Fleet to the Chesterton region.[2]
