One of the most elite units in both the Lyran Commonwealth and Successor States as a whole, the 10th Lyran Guards have been commanded by nine future Archons during their history.
History
After the FedCom Civil War the unit chosed to stay on New Avalon instead of returning to the Lyran Alliance. They were the first unit to engage the Word of Blake forces landing on New Avalon and took heavy casualties. What was left of the unit merged with the 1st Davion Guards in February 3068.
Officers
In 3025 the Commanding Officer was Colonel Frederick Steiner, Duke of Duran.
In 3067 the Commanding Officer was Leftenant General Reinhard Steiner.
