History

In August 3075 forces from the Ghost Bear Omicron Galaxy took heavy casualties during the liberation of Cebalrai. Cebalrai was defended by the Cebalrai Protectorate Militia and supporting mercenary units, and the swift campaign by the Omicron Galaxy forces had captured the capital city, New Wade, as well as driven the defenders out of the continents of Lennori and Sarrina. The last Blakist holdouts were defending the three major cities on the continent of Dragga when two Clusters from Omicron Galaxy, the Seventh Bear Regulars and the Sixty-ninth Provisional Garrison Cluster, were assaulting the main Blakist strength at the city of Kamrin when the desperate defending forces detonated five nuclear devices, destroying themselves and the two Clusters.[1][2][3]

While Omicron Galaxy paused to regroup the Tenth Provisional Garrison Cluster was deployed to Cebalrai to finish annihilating up the remaining Blakist forces.[1]

Officers

As of 3061 the Commanding Officer was Star Colonel Michael Jorgensson.

Notes

  • Considered the worst unit in the Clan.

Game Rules

  • The Tenth PGC specifically does not gain the bonus applicable to other Clan Ghost Bear units when rolling for Star weight on the Random Weight Class Tables.[4]
  • Units from the Tenth PGC suffer a -2 Penalty to all Initiative Rolls.[4]
  • In any scenario where the Random Mapsheet Tables are being used the Tenth PGC player may choose all of the mapsheets used for a scenario, rather than rolling, and the opponent generates none of the maps. If the Tenth PGC player does elect to choose the maps used in such a scenario, the opposing player may veto one of the maps, and the vetoed map must be replaced by a randomly generated mapsheet.[4]
  • If the Tenth PGC player chooses the mapsheets for a scenario, that player may arrange the maps in any legal placement.[4]
  • The Tenth PGC player receives a +2 bonus to the die roll made when rolling to determine which player gets to choose their home map edge first.[4]
