Formation

4th Succession War

Ronin Wars

War of 3039

The Fourth Regulars were stationed on Tarnby during the entire war and saw no active combat. [1]

Clan Invasion

The Fourth Pesht Regulars were one of the first DCMS units to face the Clans[2], being soundly defeated in a series of one-on-one combats with Clan Smoke Jaguar on Tarnby. They have been moved to their district capital, where they train to overcome their tarnished honor.

Operation Bulldog

Dominion War

Federated Suns Incursion

Jihad

The Fourth Pesht Regulars held Pesht against the Word of Blake in 3069, driving the fanatics off the world in a month. This conflict reduced the unit's size, and the Quartermaster Corps was unable to provide enough replacements. The Fourth had only replaced approximately half their losses when the 29th Division and 42nd Shadow Division landed on the planet two years later. Though the Fourth was eventually destroyed to the last man, their skillful defense allowed the inhabitants to find safety in the planet's mine systems. These mines protected the civilians from the nuclear assault that destroyed the handful of surviving warriors from the Fourth.[3]

Officers

As of 3050 to 3059, the Fourth is commanded by Tai-sa Stephan Somogyi.[4][5][6]

Tactics

The Fourth held to the traditional methods of fighting used by the DCMS until those methods failed them against the Clans. They are now racing to implement Theodore Kurita's reforms, using combined fire and C3-equipped units.[5]
