History

The Andurien Heavy Guards represented the people of Andurien in the Capellan Confederation. They frequently garrisoned their name world, and used lighter equipment to engage an opponent at range.[1]

They were formed in 2651 and had access to some of the most advanced BattleMech designs available to the Capellan Confederation. They rarely left Andurien, and their performance was lacking due to lack of action. Between 2710 and 2750 they were basically a parade unit that only participated in wargames. In these wargames they always placed near the bottom of the results.[2]
