The Argyle system is the location of at least one inhabited world, Argyle III, and as at 3145 was located in the Markesan Operational Area of the Crucis March within the Federated Suns.[2][3]

System Description

The Argyle system is located near the Ipava and New Avalon systems.[2][3]

System History

The Argyle system was settled during or shortly after the First Exodus from Terra and Argyle was one of the founding systems of the Federated Suns in 2317.[4]

Argyle III

Template:InfoBoxPlanetStandard Argyle III - more commonly known simply as Argyle - is the third planet in the Argyle system and has four moons, named Aisillik, Corey, Jamais and Stiggin's Moon respectively.[1]

Planetary History

Argyle is located near New Avalon, but wasn't settled until that world became too crowded. With its vast open plains and fertile soil, it quickly became one of the Crucis March's breadbasket worlds. During the thirty-first century it exported a great deal of food to neighboring worlds, along with microelectronics and manufactured goods. Given its proximity to New Avalon and pleasant climate, Argyle was also a popular vacation spot with the nobility of the Federated Suns. In fact, the Davion family kept a vacation estate on this world.[1]

Argyle was also considered one of the Federated Suns' "Garden Worlds"; worlds that surround the "Golden Five" worlds of the Crucis March.[1]
