Description
The Blood Reaper is a 'Mech designed specifically for dueling, specializing in close combat and serving well in urban combat.
Armament
Piloted by Alaric Wolf during his Trial of Position, the Blood Reaper is a 70-ton reverse-canted design. Each arm is loaded with an ER PPC and three Heavy Medium Lasers. It also mounts a Targeting computer and an ATM-6. (With one ton of ammunition, usually sufficient for most Clan trials.) For defense, it carries 10.5 tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor to give the machine as much protection as possible. The Blood Reaper uses a 350 XL engine so it can close with the enemy to utilize its Heavy Lasers. Even with fourteen double heat sinks, a pilot must watch their heat curve.
Variants
The only known variant drops the four jump jets, replacing them with two arm mounted Medium Pulse Lasers on each arm.
