Legate Calvilena Tortorelli was the Planetary Legate of Mirach, for the Republic of the Sphere, from at least 3130 to 3136.[1][2][3]
Personal Appearance
As of 3133, Tortorelli was considered a shortish man gone to seed, with a large belly not reflective of what was generally expected of those with extensive military training. He also generally wore a dozen military medals, though they were not all prominent awards.[4]
History
Tortorelli was appointed as Legate of Mirach by Prefect Kal Radick, reported due to his few military successes, though these were considered by some to be few and far between.[4]
In April 3133, following the Blackout, Legate Tortorelli attempted to impose martial law in some parts of Mirach. This desire was however denied by Governor Sergio Ortega, who feared Tortorelli would use the arrangements to augment his own power.[4]
In 3136, despite Legate Tortorelli's continued resistance, AllWorldComm was eventually acquired by Jacob Bannson, though he was still able to frustrate Bannson Universal's hope to establish a trading post on Mirach.[3]
Notes
- Tortorelli is noted as Governor rather than Legate in one source[1], swapped with the individual otherwise named as Governor by other sources[2]. As the Dark Age: Republic Worlds (3130) listing of Republican planetary Governors and Legates is generally relied upon by other Canon sources such as Dark Age: 3132-3134 INN, over the one in Dark Age: Republic of the Sphere, its information has similarly been preferred as correct for the purposes of this article.
