Carl Sleipness was a commander in the Free Rasalhague Republic during Operation REVIVAL and later participated in Operation SERPENT.[1][2]

Operation REVIVAL[edit]
During Operation REVIVAL, Överste Carl Sleipness was in command of the 4th Drakøns stationed on the world of Radstadt.[3] He was in charge of the planet's defense against Clan Wolf when they invaded the world during the Fourth Wave of the Clan Invasion. Despite a tenacious defense during the Battle of Radstadt (3050), the 4th Drakøns and its supporting units were largely destroyed. Carl was one of the few survivors able to escape.[1]
After the Battle of Tukayyid, Carl and the other survivors began rebuilding the 4th Drakøns on the world of Ueda.[4]
Operation SERPENT[edit]
After the formation of the the Second Star League, Carl and his 4th Drakøns would become one of the invading elements of Operation SERPENT. On Huntress in 3060, Carl would once again survive the near destruction of the 4th Drakøns against the Clans, but this time emerge victorious against his Clan Smoke Jaguar opponents. Afterwards, the 4th Drakøns would be disbanded and Carl Sleipness would join the 1st Royal BattleMech Regiment. There he used his diplomatic skills to sooth a rising tide of anti-ComStar efforts in the Free Rasalhague Republic.[2]
Final Fate[edit]
Carl Sleipness' final fate is unknown. It is assumed he was still serving with the 1st Royal BattleMech Regiment stationed on Tukayyid when ComStar forces were shattered by the Word of Blake, but that is unconfirmed.
