Description

Originally conceived of as a supplement for support vehicles, Combat Equipment details support vehicle construction rules and rules for their use in Classic BattleTech, Classic BattleTech RPG, and BattleForce 2. The book went a step further, however, and introduced new equipment for use in CBT:RPG—including weapons, armor, and munitions—as well as new battle armor. Combat Equipment also introduced new ProtoMechs and rules for integrating them into CBT:RPG games. Finally, the book contains record sheets for all designs introduced in it.

Combat Equipment is a companion volume to both Classic BattleTech and Classic BattleTech RPG. Providing a plethora of new tools for the battlefield, Combat Equipment also contains a rules expansion allowing players to build non-combat vehicles from buses to trains and large atmospheric craft to super-large wet navy vessels. Also included: a full technical readout section detailing fourteen new battle armor designs in various stages of prototype development; eight new ProtoMechs; and pre-printed record sheets for the battle armor and ProtoMech designs.
