Lieutenant Holmes was an adoptee deeply versed in Dragoon lore and lead a small but fanatical sect that worked to preserve the "spirit" of the Dragoons as they saw it, ensuring that the unit did not stray far from the ideals envisioned by Jaime Wolf. Holmes believed the Dragoons' joining with Alaric Ward betrayed those ideals and fumed at Ward's subsequent betrayal of the Dragoons themselves.[1]
