Curtiss Hydroponics (Power Systems Division) is a division of Curtiss Hydroponics, a manufacturer of water purification systems that branched into the IndustrialMech market. Following the destruction of its Curtiss Militech Battlemech Factory on Paradise and the imposition of a moratorium on Battlemech construction by Devlin Stone, Curtiss Hydroponics withdrew from the military market and focused instead on the civilian sector reconstruction following the Jihad. The move into IndustrialMechs was thought of as a way to both supply the massive reconstruction effort and circumvent the BattleMech restrictions at the same time.[1]
