Captain David LaPlaca was an aerospace fighter pilot, who served in the Federated Suns' Fifth Davion Guards, as of 2952.[1]

LaPlaca was a member of the Command Air Lance, Beta Squadron, of the Fifth Davion Guards, during the Battle of Lee in September 2952, otherwise known as the Great Lee Turkey Shoot. The Second Kearny Highlanders' attempted invasion of the Federated Suns world of Lee, on behalf of the Capellan Confederation, was decisively defeated by the lighter aerospace fighters of the Fifth Davion Guards.[1]
