As of early 3028, Lanier was a member of the Command Lance, Magdaleno's Company of Baker Battalion. Following the Battle of Misery Lanier joined Beta Regiment's Second Provisional Company, as part of which he went on to fight in the Battle of Crossing, where he suffered serious injuries.[1]
