Duggan was a corrupt but capable Minister of Trade for the Free Worlds League for many years. He was popular with the other member-states, including such troublesome regions as the Principality of Regulus. At one point, he was the popular choice to be named heir-designate to his father's throne, but Janos never considered Duggan, eventually choosing his younger son, Thomas Marik.
In 3019, he gave a speech in Parliament supporting his father's decision to hire Wolf's Dragoons after Anton's Civil War.[1]
Death
He, along with his father Janos, were assassinated in 3035 by his cousin, Duncan, during a strategy session concerning the Andurien Secession.
Notes
Was a lover of Bronwen Rafsani, who was also his father's mistress.
