Captain Gerald LaSalle was an officer in Wolf's Dragoons, who served as the commander of LaSalle's Company ("The Hunters") of Able Battalion in Delta Regiment as of 3028.[1]

LaSalle was reputed to have an innovative fighting style, being a student of Delta Regiment commanders Colonel Sarah Weisz and Colonel Kathleen Dumont, who taught him to successfully change tactics to fit different situations.
During the Dragoons' contract with the Draconis Combine prior to 3028, LaSalle distinguished himself during an engagement on the Federated Suns world of Bergman's Planet, where he managed to keep the Davion defenders off balance with unpredictable tactics. This battle ended with two entire Davion companies crippled at the cost of only three of his own 'Mechs.
During the Battle of Misery in 3028, his company fought well, but ultimately its flank was turned by a Ryuken company and LaSalle died with almost his entire unit.[1]
