Star Captain Harbin was a member of the First Jaguar Guards Cluster during the Battle of Luthien in 3052.[1]

Harbin was in command of an Elemental Binary tasked with defending the initial Clan drop zones upon landing on Luthien. There he, among others, exchanged the first shots of the Battle of Luthien with Sho-sa Shin Yodama and his patrol section on the Tairakana Plains.[2]
