Harold Ryan was the commander of the Second Dieron Regulars, with the Draconis Combine, from at least 3145 to 3149.[1][2]

Tai-sa Ryan, with the Second Dieron Regulars, was based on Dieron as of 3145.[1] A strong proponent of combined arms, Ryan gave equal respect to his Battle armor infantry, armor, aerospace, and BattleMech forces.[3]
During the Battle of Dieron in 3149, Ryan led the Second Dieron during the defense of the world against Republic of the Sphere forces under Paladin Max Ergen, though his Regulars' effectiveness was limited by their supporting units being widely spread, unable to reconsolidate due to the speed of the Republic's attack.[2]
