Planetary Info
Hoff was agricultural planet till it developed advanced industry before the Succession Wars, however when the war came planet industry was heavily crippled, leaving it on the level equal to 19th century Terra. In 3019 the New Avalon Institute of Science decided to place several research facilities on planet surface and revive Friden Aerospace Park. Since 3020 the Project Phoenix took place in Aerospace Park lead by House Davion, leading to introduction of Super Wasp and Super Griffin BattleMechs, Double-Strength Heat Sinks and several other technologies. The research carried till 13 May 3022 when several mechs equipped in prototype Double-Strength Heat Sinks unsuccessfully tried to defend planet from the Draconis Combine invasion.[1]
During NAIS introduction to Hoff planet was ruled by Duke Bradley Cheel.[1]
