Lieutenant Joan "Dancer" Ford was the commander of the First Armored Support Platoon ("The Deathtracks"), Umaio's Company, Able Battalion, Beta Regiment of Wolf's Dragoons as of 3028.[1]

The First Armored Support Platoon joined the Dragoons' BattleGroup after the Battle of Misery, as part of which Ford went on to fight in the Battle of Crossing, where she was killed.[1]
