Planetary History
Following a successful raid against Oriente that left the Duchy of Oriente navy reeling and unable to respond quickly, the Word of Blake struck at three Oriente worlds between the 13th and 20th of March 3079. Jouques was one of the worlds hit, along with Dayr Khuna and Les Halles, and the only one of the three to be struck with nuclear weapons, which wiped out three population centres on the planet.[8] The two Word of Blake divisions that struck at Jouques attacked and overwhelmed the defending 2nd Fusiliers of Oriente, destorying the Fusiliers before plundering the garrison for supplies; the three nuclear strikes that devastated cities on Jouques were launched as cover, under which the Blakist troops retreated.[2]
