The FSS Kali was a member of the Soyal-class of Heavy Cruisers constructed by the Delhi WarShips.[1]
History
The Kali was a command and control ship, which disappeared in 2838 due to a mis-jump, she crashed on a planet named Cinnabar. It appears good part of the crew died in the impact, or by poisoning, as the rocks, plants, water and even the air on the planet are full of mercury, and the rest appear to die of starvation.[2] A recovery team by Lyran Commonwealth forces in 2940.[3] found her in 2940, beginning the process to recover it. The Kali was a treasure, with a full battalion of BattleMechs, a working HPG, nukes... and more importantly, a working databank full of ship, BattleMechs, fighters designs.[4] Unfortunately, when the recovery team powered the HPG, this send a encrypted message, apparently intercepted by a Kuritan garrison, who attack the Lyrans with at least a regiment and a working warship. The Lyran defenders, outnumbered, cannot stop them, and before to leave the technology and data fall into Kuritan hands, the defenders blow the databanks, destroying a unknown part of the ship.[5]
