Kean Richards was a veteran infantryman in the Free Worlds League Military during the thirty-first century.

Having already served for fifteen years as a jump infantryman, Kean was selected to undergo training to become a battle armor trooper, and served in numerous battle armor operations, although he wasn't involved in Operation BULLDOG. In 3062 was posted to the security detachment responsible for guarding Captain-General Thomas Marik. In 3066, Kean was appointed commanding officer of the security detachment. Despite the new appointment, Kean continued to maintain his certification as an Achileus operator.[1]
