Kendra Slavoski was a Free Worlds League Military which fought in the Word of Blake Jihad as part of Stone's Coalition .

Jihad Era

Kendra was native from the planet Cole Harbour and became a militia corporal. Her aunt gave her a BattleMech, but as her family cannot pay him an academy, she studied herself. By 3078, she had managed to reach the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade and command Third Cole Harbour Support Battalion. The 22 January, she assisted to a meeting in duchess Alys Rousset-Marik, on the planet Hsien. She informed the presents about the arrival of two regiments of Capellan Confederation on planet. The capellans have refused to talk, attacking Stone's Coalition Task forces and the blakists too. Among the presents was Star Colonel John Lassenerra, commanding officer of the Eleventh Mechanized Cavalry (Clan Hell's Horses), which had been held in reserve. Intrigued, Kendra had been looking him. The duchess ordered the Colonel to attack the Capellan's elitest unit, the 4th Tau Ceti Rangers and crush them, killing as many as he can until she ordered him to stop, to force the Capellans to negotiate. The clanners viewed that unit, descendant of one of the SLDF which hadn't joined Operation Exodus, as traitors, and was happy to obey. Later, Alys presented Kendra to Lassenerra: as his Cluster was low on auxiliaires, the duchess wanted to reinforce it with Kendra's battalion. John began testing Kendra's competences before departing in a hoverbike. Then, Alys boarded Kendra again. She ordered the young one to keep an eye upon the stubborn Horse commander, and being Alys eyes, ears and conscience between them. Kendra promised to do it, before following the Colonel in her 'Mech.
