Akkayev-Cameron was a distant cousin of First Lord Richard Cameron, as well as consummate diplomat and SLDF officer.
Deployment in the Combine
Sometime prior to 2764 Akkayev-Cameron was assigned to the 4th Fleet, in order to deal with the Draconis Combine leadership, and show them a women could command as well as any man. She led her Fleet from the SLS Camino Real, which was attached to the 41st Line Squadron.[1]
Battle of New Home
Challen commanded the naval forces during the successful Invasion of New Home during the opening stages of Operation LIBERATION.[2]
