- McEvedy's Folly is an independent Periphery world beyond the borders of the Marian Hegemony and the Magistracy of Canopus and appeared on maps at some point between the end of the FedCom Civil War and the Dark Age.[3]
- It was confirmed by by the BattleTech Developer Øystein Tvedten via the Catalyst Game Labs Ask The Lead Developers Forum that McEvedy's Folly should in fact have been on every map from 3067 onwards until at least 3130.[1]
