McKenna's Honor
Vessel Profile
TypeDropShip
ClassLion

The McKenna's Honor was a Lion-class DropShip assigned as a supply ship to the WarShip McKenna's Pride circa 3076.

History[edit]

Circa 3071, Garmen Kerensky had been tasked by Khan Vlad Ward to lead Operation SPATHA, a secret operation to board the McKenna's Pride and steal Aleksandr Kerensky's body. However, his mission failed when his first DropShip, the Botany Bay, was destroyed by an aerospace attack.[1]

Allied with the Winter Lady Satinka, an important Dark Caste leader, Garmen's men prepared for their next attempt to retrieve General Kerensky's body, Operation SPATHA II, in five years' time.

On 5 April 3076, McKenna's Honor was captured by a group of Dark Caste warriors in the DropPort of Katyusha City. The Dark Caste leader was supposedly Wulfgar, a ex-member of Clan Steel Viper. In reality, Wulfgar was actually Garmen Kerensky. Garmen's team was able to use McKenna's Honor, which had to take a supply load to the McKenna's Pride, to successfully board the WarShip without raising an alarm.[2]

Destruction[edit]

Unfortunately, Garmen's team was discovered before they could get the General's body off McKenna's Pride. Then when Garmen's team decided to steal McKenna's Pride itself to get General Kerensky's body to safety, they were followed by several WarShips, assault DropShips, and aerospace fighters for hours.

When the Absolute Truth attempted to close in on McKenna's Pride, three crewmembers piloting the McKenna's Honor apparently detached on their own initiative and ran towards the Absolute Truth at 2.5 G. The DropShip was destroyed right before reaching it but their hull still rammed the WarShip, resulting in the loss of the McKenna's Honor but also causing massive damage to the ship, and allowing Garmen's team on the McKenna's Pride to escape with General Kerensky's body.[3]

Notes[edit]

  • The McKenna's Honors name, and a mention of Satinka about years of communication between the McKenna's Honor and the McKenna's Pride, suggest that the DropShip was the McKenna's Pride's regular supply ship.
