I Hate Snakes[edit]
Natalia: MechWarrior, recon the area. We have to figure out what they’re up to.
Objective: Recon Word base camp.
Natalia: I don’t like this feeling. They’re after something.
Foster: Sir, I’m reading heavy enemy movement away from your position. Why would that be?
Foster: The area has been evacuated. Why is the Word so interested in trying to dig something up.
Foster: Hey, there’s an abandoned Elemental suit! Not quite as sophisticated as the battle armor, but they are well suited to mountain terrain.
Foster: Sirs, more signals from higher up. You’re going to need something that can climb or jump that retaining wall.
Natalia: Get on it MechWarrior. We need you at the top of this rock pile.
Objective: Get to the top of the next mountain.
Foster: There’s a communication tower ahead. It’s transmitting an evacuation signal. Why?
Natalia: I don’t care. Take it out!
Objective: Destroy the uplink tower.
Foster: Sir, there’s an airstrip ahead. It may be a good place to get salvage and firepower upgrades.
Objective: Follow the Nav marker.
Foster: There’s a small ‘Mech depot at the end of the airfield. You might be able to upgrade your ‘Mech there.
Foster: Sir, I’m getting some strange readings from the hills above your current location. I’d say it’s another data core, but the readings are totally erratic.
Objective: Get to the top of the next mountain.
Foster: Sir, the Highlander Elementals are assaulting the base ahead. It’s suicide!
Natalia: Not if we even those odds. Give ‘em hell, MechWarrior!
Objective: Help your allies.
Foster: A mining camp? Do you think they’re after another data core?
Natalia: We are going to find out, Lieutenant.
Objective: We need intel. Do a recon sweep of the camp ahead.
Foster: Sir, that’s a Star Adder, perhaps the meanest Assault ‘Mech ever made. If I’m reading this right, it looks like they have a data core technology boosting its power.
Natalia: Then let’s scrap the thing and find out what’s inside. MechWarrior, take it down.
Objective: Defeat Star Adder
Natalia: Good work, MechWarrior. Foster, get down there and check out that salvage. See if it’s something you can work your magic on.
Foster: Roger that. I’m on it.
