Mission 8[edit]
BRIEFING[edit]
Scourge: The fortified camp of Portal protects the way to Madre. It is currently garrisoned by understrength elements of the Rim Collective and Lyran Alliance. This makes it the weak link in our enemies’ position. I will take that base and open up the way to the crater. My prominence on Veil will soon be second only to that of Susie Ryan herself.
Scourge: The problem is that we’re vulnerable as well. Creating two staging camps below the cloud cover was our mistake. Correction – was Susie Ryan’s mistake – though I should have mentioned it. I’ll have to be on guard for a retaliatory strike on one or perhaps both camps.
Scourge: Mistress Ryan will only accept total victory. I must not underestimate my enemy.

Scourge: Scourge to Commander Ryan. Seek and destroy mission underway.
