In 3066, Higgins tore through the Arenas to win the Class V championships and earn his nickname "Hurricane" from Solaris VII fight commentators. Thanks to his Colossus and his tactics, with his unconventional use of the arm shields to defend other sections of his 'Mech surprised his opponents. His first match during that 3066 championship was well remembered by the audience. Mike was paired against a Bromley Stables Cerberus and his tactics stunned everybody.
