Palladix was targeted by the SLDF in [[2586]] following the capture of [[Canopus IV]] in [[2584]]. Palladix was defended by the [[1st Canopian Light Horse|First]] and [[Fourth Canopian Light Horse]]; the SLDF landed the [[VII Corps (Star League)|VII Corps]]' [[55th Brigade]] with the [[Juggernaut (Free Worlds League)|Juggernaut regiment]] of the [[Stewart Dragoons]] in support. The Palladix system was home to at least one habitable world and as of 3151 was located within the borders of the Magistracy of Canopus.[2]

Palladix is located near the Tarol and Techne's Revenge systems and is Rimward and Anti-Spinward from Terra.[2]

Planetary History[edit]

Reunification War[edit]

Palladix was a member of the Magistracy of Canopus when a Star League Defense Force task force under the command of Captain-General Marion Marik was assigned to conquer the Magistracy of Canopus in 2577. Palladix was targeted by the SLDF in 2586 following the capture of Canopus IV in 2584. Palladix was defended by the First and Fourth Canopian Light Horse; the SLDF landed the VII Corps' 55th Brigade with the Juggernaut regiment of the Stewart Dragoons in support. Despite being outnumbered two to one, the Light Horse regiments fought tenaciously, and Palladix was only conquered when both Canopian regiments had been effectively destroyed.[6][42][43]

Palladix would be occupied by the SLDF for the remainder of the war; once the Reunification War ended, a number of Magistracy worlds were annexed by the Free Worlds League, but Palladix remained a part of the Magistracy.[6][7]

Jihad[edit]

In 3075, Novis AT-H, Inc. completed building a factory on Palladix for the Tamerlane Strike Sled in the city of Polska. However after the completion of the factory, local residents began to complained that the new factory was polluting the waters of Lake Sniardwy and killed off several fish species.[44][45]
