Star League[edit]

During the final years of the Star League, Pinnacle hosted a Star League Defense Force garrison.[42]

Clan Invasion[edit]

Pinnacle was conquered in March 3050 by Clan Ghost Bear as part of the First Wave of Operation REVIVAL. The planet was defended by a light garrison force known as the Pinnacle Guardsmen, representing a single regiment of mechanized infantry. Against this foe was the Seventy-first Assault Trinary, 140th Striker Cluster, which dispatched only its Alpha and Bravo Assault Stars in the attack. In spite of the numbers disparity the two Stars overran the Guardsmen's hardened positions within hours of landing, taking the planet in the name of the Ghost Bear Clan.[43]

First Combine-Dominion War[edit]

Operating out of Wolcott during the First Combine-Dominion War (3062–3063), the Black Omen mercenary unit secretly penetrated the Ghost Bear Dominion to raid Pinnacle, Holmsbu, and Thule where they disabled each planet's HPG and destroyed several supply depots.[44]

The Jihad[edit]

In March 3076, Pinnacle was the third of four Ghost Bear Dominion worlds to be raided by Clan Ice Hellion stragglers after the failed Ice Hellion invasion of the Clan Jade Falcon Occupation Zone several years before.[32][33]
