History

Between 3031 and 3051 alone, over 300 sorties were flown by the Red Skull Legion pirate band against the Eckeners of the Esso-Xenon PetroChem Corporation airships. The band was located somewhere on Cohegan, because of their usage of conventional fighters. Though the planetary government hired several mercenary outfits to protect their Eckener convoys and root out the Red Skull Legion, they were never successful. This changed after 3057 when the recently hired mercenary band Blake Security Aviation set out to trap the Legion with an explosives-laden Pacifica. When the majority of the Legion had drawn close, the Pacifica detonated, taking eight MechBuster fighters to the ground with it. The Red Skulls never mounted another organized raid again, and it was thought that Genghis "Khan" Tolson had died in that attack though his body was not found.[1][2]
