Renee Oscar was the Planetary Governor of Towne at least from 3132 to 3133.[1]

History
After Towne's chief sacrist Giovan Benetti was murdered in a raid by supporters of the Dragon's Fury, Lev Bouzerau was appointed to manage the Towne HPG station by Planetary Governor Renee Oscar on 16 November 3132.[1]
On 5 February 3133, in response to attacks on other Republic worlds, Renee Oscar and Legate Jonathan Jurik announced the formation of the Towne Defense Force, an expanded planetary militia, and placed Daman Zibler in command as General.[2]
During the Battle of Towne in 3133, in the early hours of 27 August 3133, the Stormhammers began their attack. The modified Garrot helicopters were used to infiltrate commandos into the Prince John spaceport under the guise of merchant activity, seizing the facility easily.[3] Alongside this attack, several Stormhammers DropShips, including a Union-class and an Excalibur-class, landed in areas around the capital, Port Howard. The planetary government announced that these were part of a trading convoy.[4] However, in secret, Towne's leaders activated local forces and sent Governor Oscar and her staff to a safe location. Within hours of the landing, the two battalions of Stormhammers surged south towards Port Howard, engaging Towne's defenders in battle.[5] Local Knight-Errant Kristoff Erbe was placed in charge of the defense.[6]
By 3145 the planet was in Draconis Combine's hands[7][8] and it is doubtful she was still in power.[citation needed]

- Oscar is noted as Legate rather than Governor in one source[9], swapped with the individual otherwise named as Legate by other sources[10]. As the Dark Age: Republic Worlds (3130) listing of Republican planetary Governors and Legates is generally relied upon by other Canon sources such as Dark Age: 3132-3134 INN, over the one in Dark Age: Republic of the Sphere, its information has similarly been preferred as correct for the purposes of this article.
