Planetary History

3050s

During the 3040's Pirate King Vance Rezak and his Pirate band, Band of the Damned, "discovers" the planet. He has construction a secret base on the planet and names the world Rezak's Hole.[2]

3060s

The Damned's staging base expanded with extensive repair facilities, and Word of Blake garrison force is secretly stationed on the planet in deal with Damned's leader.

In 3064, the elements of Clan Snow Raven arrived at the planet and wipe out Pirate base and its blake forces on the planet.[3]

3070s

Few pirates remain on the planet, however a Interstellar Expeditions team has arrived on planet seeking leads to a possible Star League cache. In 3071, former DCMS 10th Ghost Regiment arrives on planet and wipes out last of the pirates resistence on the planet. They then discover the Expedition's discovery of a League cache and raid the expedition's base camp. Now Ronin mercenary company, scores two lances of Star League era BattleMechs. Intergeting saner Pirates into the Ronins, they depart the planet before Combine patrol responding to the attack arrives.[4]

Notes

  • The original Periphery (1988) source book's map section does not show Rezak's Hole. The Pirate King hadn't become a pirate until 3049 and didn't became successful enough until the 3050s, when he discovered and settled his advanced staging base. Later maps and sourcebooks for the era mistakenly show this planet being named as early as of 3025.
