History[edit]

Eleventh Lyran Guards[edit]

In 2789, Richard was promoted to command of the Eleventh Lyran Guards.[1]

Archon[edit]

In January 2791, Richard was still commanding officer of the Eleventh Lyran Guards when his mother Jennifer was killed in combat on Styx. Richard would inherit the throne to the Commonwealth.[4] When Richard Perkins (a disgruntled noble from the planet Hegel) tried to assassinate Richard in 2812, he was saved at the last second by Hauptmann David Bateman slamming his Griffin BattleMech's hand down between the two men.[7]

Death[edit]

Richard would die of natural causes in 2823.[6][1]

Notes[edit]

Marcus Steiner was initially listed as Richard's nephew in House Steiner (The Lyran Commonwealth), but in later publications he was listed as his son.
