Description

The Rime Otter is a Medium OmniMech built originally by the Rasalhague Dominion for its Clan Ghost Bear and native Warriors. Constructed on the heavy end of the medium weight class of OmniMechs, the design was intended to support other specialty designs in the field. The Mech's builders, Jötunn BattleWorx, used past experience building the classic Grizzly to built the OmniMech.[3]

Weapons and Equipment

Designed to be a fairly swift machine, the Rime Otter built with 275-Rated Extra-Light Fusion Engine, with the addition of MASC push the design to upper spectrum of speeds to keep up with lighter designs and still able provide cover for the Dominion's heavier designs.[2]

Intended as a frontline combatant, the chassis has been allotted 18.5 tons of OmniPod space for weapons and equipment. Designed to be a Brawler, the Rime Otter's Prime Configuration features pair of arm mounted Large Pulse Lasers for intermediate and short ranges, while an advanced Artemis V guided 10-tube Long Range Launcher is housed in right torso with 10 volleys of ammunition. The 'Mech has additional Double Heat Sink and has been given protection from ammunition explosion with CASE II.[2]
