During the Clan Invasion Schwartz was invaded by Clan Smoke Jaguar. The fighting was fierce and lasted several hours, finally ending when Star Colonel Showers defeated Tai-sa Mark Graham in single combat. However the Smoke Jaguars deployed insufficient areospace cover during the battle, which in part allowed the main bulk of the Ninth Regulars to retreat off-world.[11]
