Sibko is a compound word for "sibling company." The Clans produced their trueborn warriors by taking the genes of two geneparents of that particular Clan's gene center and producing 20 children.

These 20 children (known as "sibkin") are raised together and form intimate bonds with each other as they are brought up steeped in the way of the Clan. Several adults (called "sibparents") raise them until they are old enough to begin warrior training.
